Quality inspections that close their own loops.

InspectionIQ is the field quality system for solar EPC teams: digital ITPs and FAIs, photo-backed results, automatic observations and NCRs, QM sign-off and a PDF report for every closed inspection.

What is in Early Access

Everything a quality team needs on site.

Built from real solar ITPs and real field problems, then tested the way a quality manager would test it.

๐Ÿ“‹

Digital ITPs and FAIs

Run inspections and First Article Inspections from templates built for solar work. Pass, fail or N/A each item, add notes and require photos on failures.

๐Ÿงฐ

Your templates, your drawings

Build and duplicate templates, and link individual checklist items to the drawing page the inspector needs, one tap from the field.

๐Ÿ“ธ

Photo-backed records

Capture photos on any inspection item, observation or NCR. Everything lands in a searchable Site Photos library tied to its record.

โš‘

Automatic observations

A failed item creates an observation with an owner, a due date set by severity and an email to the assignee.

โฑ

Escalation that does not forget

Observations that go overdue escalate to a formal NCR automatically, on a timer you control.

โœ…

NCRs with real closure rules

An NCR cannot close without root cause, corrective action and verification. Closing it closes the observation and clears the inspection.

โœ

QM sign-off

Inspections that pass show Pending QM Signoff until the quality manager signs, then become Complete with a PDF report filed automatically.

๐Ÿ“

Drawings and markup

View project drawings in the app and mark them up for the crew, right where inspection decisions get made.

๐Ÿ“

Location tree

Organize work by site, array, block and row so every record, photo and observation points to a real place.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ

Roles and project access

Invite your team, assign roles and control who is on which project, with permissions enforced in the database.

๐Ÿ“ด

Works with no signal

Capture inspections, observations, NCRs and photos offline. They sync automatically when you are back online, with a clear indicator the whole time.

๐Ÿ“ฑ

On every phone and tablet

Add it to the home screen and it opens like an app, with large touch targets and no side-scrolling on a phone.

The workflow

From a failed item to a verified closure.

Every step is recorded with who, what and when, so audits and owner reviews are a few clicks, not a document hunt.

1

Inspect

Complete the ITP with photos and results.

2

Follow up

Failures open observations with owners and due dates.

3

Escalate

Overdue items become NCRs automatically.

4

Close and sign

Verify, sign off, and the PDF report files itself.

Where it is going

Coming next for InspectionIQ.

๐Ÿค–

AI template pre-fill In testing

Choose a template, then your drawings, contract specs and bill of materials. The AI writes the project's real values into the checklist, with the sheet or clause each one came from, and a quality manager reviews and approves every item.

๐Ÿ”—

CloseoutIQ handoff

Closed inspection records flow straight into your job book and final turnover package.

โฌก

Full Field Command

Grow into planning, daily reports, contracts and analytics without changing systems.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is InspectionIQ ready to use on a real project?

InspectionIQ is in Early Access. It is working software that we are rolling out to teams one at a time, with hands-on onboarding, so we can make sure it fits your workflow before opening it up more widely.

Does it work without cell signal?

Yes. Once a project has been opened on a device, inspections, observations, NCRs and photos can be captured with no signal. They are stored on the device and sync automatically, in order, when the connection returns. Signing in, sending invitations and email notifications need a connection.

Can we use our own inspection templates?

Yes. You can build templates from scratch, duplicate and edit them, and attach drawing references to individual checklist items. Inspections and FAIs share the same workflow.

Who can see and edit what?

Every user has a role (admin, project manager, QC manager, construction manager, QC inspector or view-only) and each project controls who is a member. Access is enforced in the database, not just hidden in the screen.

Do we have to install anything?

No app store needed. InspectionIQ runs in the browser and can be added to a phone or tablet home screen so it opens like an app.

How does pricing work?

Most teams pay per active project, and smaller companies can pay per person. It depends on project size and the modules you use. Request access and we will send a quote.

Ready to see it on your project?

Tell us about your team and we will set you up personally. Early Access teams get hands-on onboarding.
